Amanda: I am going to try to communicate in calm terms why I hate this album so much, though I cannot promise you that I will succeed. First of all, what is blogger doing? Why is the text showing up like this??? F*CK!!!!! Anyway, this isn't music. This is a bunch of self indulgent sounds that mean nothing. Besides, Frank Zappa likes himself too much for anyone else to go to the trouble. HATED IT!

I found the music edgy and adventurous. The better songs are on side 2, e.g. "Lonely Little Girl" and "Mother People". I would have preferred less of the experimental and spoken word stuff, but some of it was at least interesting.
