This is techno music with a twist, the twist being that Talvin Singh incorporates Asian and Indian elements into the style.

Which makes it more interesting than your average electronica album. Of course, to me, your average electronica is pretty damn boring, so perhaps this isn't saying much. I actually think the album peaked with its first track, which had an Indian orchestral string section that was really astounding. The rest of the album was much less memorable and sounded dated, with the exception of "OK" which had cool vocals.

But "Decca" was just plain weird.
