We just had the Wu-Tang Clan. Now we have Method Man's solo effort which very much sounds like the Wu-Tang Clan. This is to be expected obviously and is clearly a deliberate nod with all the shoutouts to the Clan. Still, it seems like he doesn't have much to say as a solo artist.

So if you really liked the Wu-Tang Clan album, you will love this, as it is a continuation of the same sound. I like the more laid back vibe of this hip hop style and the production was very good. Kind of gritty but still smooth.

I can't help but compare this to Ice Cube's first solo effort after N.W.A, and this is far superior. Still derivative though.
