"And I kept standing six-feet-one/instead of five-feet-two/And I loved my life and I hated you." As a 5'2" woman I haven't felt so acknowledged since the Everly Brothers. Liz Phair gets me, what can I say.
I absolutely loved this album, I loved the lyrics, and I loved the delivery. She is uncompromising in her anger which is maybe why she isn't more popular, but unlike other angry artists on this List, she isn't directing that anger at other marginalized groups.
One of my favorite entries on the List so far. In my mind, the perfect album.
