Another milestone for the books, 801, meaning we only have 200 albums to go! And this officially ends my Album-athon weekend. So much good music squeezed into two days.

So this is another solo effort from a member of the Wu-Tang Clan. It starts off rather strangely, with a child talking about his samurai father. They sure like their Eastern influences. I mean, that was a little weird, but oddly, it worked. This might actually be my favorite solo effort by somebody from the Wu-Tang Clan so far. The tracks were all fairly mellow, with great beats that had an almost soporific quality to them.

I feel like we are just bouncing between hip hop and britpop albums, with an occasional world music entry thrown in every so often. It's getting a little monotonous, but at least the recent quality of the albums has been good.

RATING: 4/5
