I can't say for sure if this band invented the slacker/indie rock genre, but it certainly seems like it; I can't recall listening to anything previously on the List that sounded like this. Of course, the genre has been greatly improved upon since then, but you still have to give this band some credit.

I really liked the lead vocals in the album; it was hard to believe this came out in the 80s. The album did have a few hiccups, like when it would hit the "noise" part of "noise rock" a little too hard. But overall, it was a welcome edition to the List.

So I am warming up to 1987, and this was a good way to start a Monday.
