I feel like we might have time traveled back to the mid seventies with these last two albums. This is technically "post punk" but it sounds more like good old fashioned punk than...um...post.
One of the most famous things about this album was the bizarre packaging. Apparently, it was sold in a film canister and the individual discs were hard to remove without scratching them. Thankfully, I listened to this album on YouTube. Should you really be punishing people for trying to listen to your music? I guess we should be thankful they abandoned the sandpaper idea.
I don't have a lot to say about this album; it left with an overwhelming feeling of "meh." No stand out songs, no stand out lyrics. Not offensively bad, but just kind of dull.
