I know I have been bitching about hip hop a lot lately, but I actually enjoyed this quite a bit. It was much quieter than I was expecting. As a rule, I am much more interested in hearing what you have to say if you say it softly, and aren't, say, simply shouting profanities.
It's still wasn't particular memorable, even though I did enjoy their use of sampling. It was jazzier than previous hip hop albums on this List, but it wasn't as cheerful or distinct as De La Soul.
Next up, we have French hip hop. Who knows, maybe that's the thing I've been missing in my life.
