I really enjoyed the previous Hole album on the List. Some people have noted that the previous Hole album had a lot of input from Kurt Cobain. Obviously, this one didn't. I thought there might be a significant dip in quality, but thankfully that didn't turn out to be the case.

I still love the vocals, which remind me of Liz Phair. Courtney Love wrote all the lyrics to this album, and they really show how talented she is. I think a lot of people dismiss her as Cobain's wife/killer. But she's a great musician in her own right, and probably didn't do it. Probably.

So another great Hole album with smart, punchy songs that are just a tad creepy.
