We have another really delightful album, brought to us by Silver Jews. I love this indie folk genre this List has been into lately. It's definitely a nice reprieve from the onslaught of electronica.
This is a short album that is over before you know it, but definitely leaves an impression. The lyrics were funny and clever, and the songs were fairly catchy. I guess this was a mixture of country/folk but it also had some lo-fi elements as well.
Overall, a really fun album and so far 2001 hasn't been so bad.
