This is the second solo album we have from an artist with the Wu-Tang Clan, and once again I'm impressed by the quality and originality of their music.
So I guess this isn't the first mafioso rap record, but it did resurrect the genre which had mostly died out by the late 80s. Naturally, it is not my favorite style of music, but I thought it was an interesting twist on gangsta rap, which by now has been done to death by less talented artists.
It didn't have quite the same impact as Enter the Wu-Tang (36 Chambers), but I think it is better than the Method Man album that preceded it.
RATING: 4/5
